Ashley-Chicot Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ACEC) Net Metering
Interconnection Process for Net Metering Facilities:
A. PRELIMINARY INTERCONNECTION SITE REVIEW REQUEST
B. STANDARD INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT FOR NET-METERING FACILITIES
1) Member contacts ACEC to request the Net Metering/ Interconnected Distributed Resource Policy or views the policy on our website: 870-853-5212 or www.ashley-chicot.com
2) Member submits completed and signed PRELIMINARY INTERCONNECTION SITE REVIEW REQUEST with application fee to ACEC. The application fee is intended to cover standard processing of the agreement, site visits and the actual connection under normal circumstances. These charges are subject to be adjusted to reflect actual costs as needed.
3) ACEC will review PRELIMINARY INTERCONNECTION SITE REVIEW REQUEST and make a site visit to determine if there are any issues with existing facilities.
4) ACEC will notify Member of application review results and notify Member of any costs associated with implementing the STANDARD INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT FOR NET-METERING FACILITIES.
5) If PRELIMINARY INTERCONNECTION SITE REVIEW is favorable a required inspection will be initiated by a licensed electrical inspector with intricate knowledge of solar facilities that can be agreed upon by the electric cooperative. All costs will be borne by the member requesting the net metering services.
6) Member pays any costs associated with implementing the STANDARD INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT FOR NET-METERING FACILITIES
7) Member submits a STANDARD INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT FOR NET-METERING FACILITIES
8) ACEC inspects the IDR facilities and informs the Member of any corrections or adjustments that need to be made.
9) ACEC finalizes/executes the STANDARD INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT FOR NET-METERING FACILITIES and coordinates connection with Member.
